The Architectural Glazing Careers Festival was an outstanding success, marking a powerful step forward in addressing one of the industry’s most pressing challenges: the talent gap.
In collaboration with the IAG (The Institute of Architectural Glazing) and Building Our Skills, and hosted in partnership with AluK, this event brought together key players across the architectural glazing and façades sector alongside the future professionals of the industry.
Powered by StudentVenture, a sub-brand of Vaultt, the festival showcased our mission: supporting the next generation into industries by providing pathways, opportunities, and real-world exposure.
3 Student Placements
As a direct result of connections made during the festival, three students secured placement opportunities with leading companies in the sector: Structura, Cantifix, and Maxlight. These placements are more than just work experience; they are the first steps toward long-term careers in architectural glazing.
Each student will gain hands-on experience with high-performing teams, exposure to live projects, and practical skills essential for the future of façades and glazing. Whether in engineering, project management, design, or installation, these placements offer a comprehensive introduction to real industry environments.
Ines Idoulahiane, University of Westminster, shared her experience:
" I applied through the Vaultt app. They were impressed by my initiative and created a placement specifically for me. I’m grateful for this opportunity to shadow façade designers and gain hands-on fabrication experience. Without StudentVenture, this opportunity wouldn’t have existed."
