About the Initiative

StudentVenture - Vaultt's dedicated student and graduate iniative - has partnered with UNiDAYS, Canopy Community, and world-renowned entrepreneur Simon Squibb to launch one of the UK's most ambitious student entrepreneurship programmes to date. The mission is simple: discover the UK's most innovative student founders and give them everything they need to turn bold ideas into real businesses.

The Challenge

The UK has no shortage of ambitious student founders - but too many great ideas stall before they ever reach the market. The gap between academic potential and commercial reality remains wide, and early-stage founders often lack access to the networks, mentorship, and resources needed to bridge it. A new kind of initiative was needed. One built at scale, with serious backing, and real stakes.

The Programme

Leveraging UNiDAYS' reach across millions of students nationwide, the programme surfaces the UK's most promising early-stage founders. From that search, 100 aspiring entrepreneurs are hand-selected to enter an intensive accelerator delivered by the experts at Canopy Community - focused on three pillars:

  • Idea Validation - Rapidly refining concepts through real-world customer insight and market testing.

  • The Founder's Toolkit - Building high-fidelity pitch decks and early-stage brand assets.

  • The Art of the Pitch - Developing the confidence and storytelling needed to move investors and industry leaders.

The Result

The programme culminates on Friday, 27th May 2026 at Revolut HQ, London - where ten standout startups will pitch live in front of a panel of venture capitalists, industry mentors, and Simon Squibb, with £100,000 in investment and support up for grabs.

For Vaultt and StudentVenture, this is more than a competition. It is proof that being a student is the best time to become a founder - and that with the right ecosystem behind them, the next generation of UK entrepreneurs can compete at the highest level.
